Every Saturday when we have a tournament scheduled.
2:00pm - 4:00pm

While competition is not the core mission of GROUNDWORKS, we provide an environment for students interested in exploring it to meet its demands. 
We take competition seriously, recognizing the need for a shift in mindset, strong desire, and thorough preparation to engage with tenacity, technical skill, and tactical awareness.
Created to give students a space to refine their readiness for competition, this club supports those looking to test their Jiu-Jitsu in a competitive setting.

  • This class is open to all members with positive, team-working attitudes, who show a competitive spirit, a desire to improve, and the willingness to work hard.

    If you have any concerns or questions feel free to contact Coach Rich.

  • Students are always welcome to sign up for any tournament and compete if they choose. However, for our full support, we require students to participate in CompCLUB and train as a team.

  • While there are many large-scale tournaments in SoCal, we’ll be on the lookout for smaller local tournaments to help students ease into the competition scene.
